We're Emily and Courtney, best friends of over 20 years, brought together by a shared love of good food, great company and a beautifully styled platter.

Platter making has been part of our lives for as long as we can remember. Long before it became a trend, we were the ones bringing boards to birthdays, gatherings and celebrations, slowly becoming the people everyone expected to turn up with "the food".

By day, Courtney works in nursing and is a midwife in training, and Emily in disability support. Both roles centre around care, connection and showing up for people, which naturally flows into what we create through E&C Events. Both Emily and Courtney hold all relevant food handling certifications, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in every grazing table and box we create.

What began as a favourite side hobby has grown into something more - a way to bring people together, slow things down and share food in a way that feels generous, thoughtful and made to be enjoyed.

Right now, E&C Events focuses on grazing tables and boxes designed for sharing. But our vision reaches beyond food. We're building towards all things celebrations and events, collaborating with like-minded creatives and local makers along the way.

When we're not working or building E&C Events, you'll find us keeping active with our beautiful dogs, squeezing in a Pilates class, or let's be honest.. eating platters with anyone willing to join us.

This is just the beginning, and we can't wait to share what's next.
